Agreement to these terms
By using this website, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the website. These website terms do not replace the terms of a signed proposal, work order, subcontract, or other written project agreement.
Website information
The website provides general information about commercial data cabling and low-voltage infrastructure. Content is provided for general planning and does not constitute engineering, legal, code-compliance, safety, or network-design advice. Project conditions, applicable requirements, product instructions, and written contract documents control the actual work.
Quote requests and proposals
Submitting a form or discussing a project does not create a contract, reserve a schedule, or guarantee availability, pricing, or acceptance. A project begins only after the parties accept a separate written agreement that identifies the scope, price or pricing method, schedule, assumptions, exclusions, payment terms, and any required approvals.
Project scope and changes
Only work specifically included in the accepted written agreement is included. Concealed conditions, inaccessible pathways, hazardous materials, damaged existing infrastructure, owner-requested revisions, work by other trades, after-hours access, permit requirements, and other conditions may affect price and schedule. Changes should be documented and approved in writing before the changed work proceeds.
Customer responsibilities
The customer is responsible for providing accurate project information, safe and timely site access, authorization to perform the work, required escorts and approvals, suitable work areas, and coordination with owners, landlords, IT providers, electricians, general contractors, and other trades. Unless the written agreement states otherwise, the customer is responsible for active network equipment, configuration, internet service, electrical power, permits, and decisions about device locations and network design.
Materials, testing, and network performance
Materials, installation methods, labels, and tests will be those stated in the written agreement. Cable test results address the passive cabling link and selected test limits; they do not guarantee switch, router, wireless, internet, application, or end-device performance. Product availability and manufacturer substitutions must be addressed in the project agreement or an approved change.
Pricing, payment, and cancellation
Pricing, deposits, progress payments, final payment, taxes, travel, cancellation, rescheduling, and collection terms are determined by the accepted written agreement. Website descriptions and preliminary conversations are not binding price commitments.
Warranties and disclaimers
Any workmanship warranty, product warranty, remedy, or exclusion will be stated in the accepted written agreement or applicable manufacturer’s documentation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and its content are provided “as is” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Clarksville Data Cabling will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages arising from use of this website. Liability for project work, if any, is governed by the accepted written project agreement and applicable law.
Acceptable use
You may not misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, submit unlawful or deceptive information, introduce malicious code, or use site content in a way that violates another person’s rights.
Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the website design, text, graphics, and original materials are owned by or licensed to Clarksville Data Cabling. You may view and print reasonable portions for evaluating services, but may not republish or commercially exploit the content without permission.
Third-party services and links
Third-party websites, products, and services may have separate terms and policies. Clarksville Data Cabling is not responsible for third-party content or availability merely because a link appears on this website.
Governing law and changes
These website terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The terms may be updated by publishing a revised version and effective date on this page. Continued use of the website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised website terms.
